I have examined a lot of ported barrels on the inside with a bore scope
and have never seen one I would have on my rifle. The ones done on an
edm machine had splatter at the edges of the hole and the ones that were
machined had burrs and the like. If you want the brake effect thread the
barrel and install a brake on the end of the barrel.
