I've found a better glue than the rubber cement to be that stuff they
put in stickypad mouse traps.  Dissolve some in acetone or whatever
and paint it on.  It remains sticky forever, giving you plenty of time
to mount your engines.  When the old engines run down, they can be
plucked off and new ones installed without additional cement being
required.
